Abukuma Cave(Estimated duration/25 minutes by car)

About 600 meters long, this limestone cave is said to have been created over roughly 80 million years. At the greatest hall inside the cave, "Takine Goten," which has a height of around 30 meters, you will be able to view precious stalactites that can only be viewed in Abukuma Cave. Another appealing point is that it can be enjoyed throughout the entire year.

Hoshi no Mura Fureaikan(Estimated duration/15 minutes by car)

This is a lodging facility with a large bath where it is possible to take a bath during a day trip, and at the restaurant within the facility, you can eat the local gourmet dish of Tamura City, "Tamura Yasai (Vegetable) Curry." Be sure to taste this healthy dish, which is packed with local vegetables.

Eisenji no Sakura(Estimated duration/15 minutes by car)

Said to be the sister tree of the Miharu Taki-zakura, one of the three major cherry blossom trees in Japan, this 400-year-old Japanese weeping cherry tree is located on the grounds of Eisenji Temple. It is designated as a natural treasure of Fukushima Prefecture. The best time to see it is towards the end of April, and it is illuminated when the sun sets.

Ozawa no Sakura(Estimated duration/20 minutes by car)

In a tobacco field along National Route 349, this Someiyoshino (Yoshino cherry blossom tree), which is 100 years old, blooms alone. Its contrast with rape blossoms when it is in full bloom is gorgeous, and was used as one of the locations for a movie. On its roots, there is a small shrine and a Buddha in nature dedicated, and far away, you will be able to see Utsushigatake.

Funehiki Park(Estimated duration/10 minutes by car)

This is a commercial facility in Funehikimachi that sells things such as clothing items and household goods, and souvenirs are also available. After fully getting immersed in Tamura City, how about buying some "Tamura's Local Confectionary Hokuju" which uses wild grapes, and some local sake as souvenirs?
